In the summer of 2005, after a visit and
brainstorm sessions with a customer, a large,
round QRD diffuser for ceiling
mount was designed.
The finished product was designed to be added
to a tasteful living interior.
The footprint of that room is round too.
The room was simultaneously optimised with
regard to wideband reverberation and
reflection control.
The sheer size and weight of this diffuser,
as well as the accuracy and improvisation
talent needed for building and installing
this object, evoke a lot of respect and
admiration with me.
The photos were kindly handed to be by the
client to share with others interested.
